In our first opera production, Thomas Gregory conducts Fortismere Community Symphony Orchestra in a semi-staged version of Mozart’s ever-popular opera, The Marriage of Figaro. Featuring choruses from Fortismere Community Choir, and a cast of rising opera stars, this classic tale of love and mischief is as wonderful for those new to opera as those who already love every note. Directed by Resident Director of the Almeida Theatre, Joseph Winters, expect a summer evening full of fun, spectacle and exquisite music.
