Fortismere Community Symphony Orchestra presents a programme of Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich.

Beethoven's Egmont Overture opens, followed by Shostakovich's much-loved second Piano Concerto. The second half consists of Tchaikovsky's brilliant, intense and dramatic Fourth Symphony.

Shostakovich wrote the piano concerto for his 19-year-old son to perform so, fittingly, our soloist Yazdi Madon is a talented young pianist from The Purcell School. Tickets for this concert are being offered free to under-18s.
